Stuart Singers concert in Tetbury

Stuart Singers’ Tetbury Concert 2015

We are delighted to be hosting the Stuart Singers' concert in St Mary's Church, Tetbury on Saturday 13th June at 7.30pm.

Last year’s concert in Tetbury was a great success, and this year’s programme will be packed with an equally wide variety of musical genres: something for everyone!

The programme includes many new numbers alongside a few Stuart Singers’ old favourites.  In particular, new to the choir are:

  • A Lennon and McCartney medley
  • The rather tragic tale of The Goslings
  • The touching “You’ve got a friend in me” from the film Toy Story
  • “Who knows where the time goes” by Sandy Denny, originally recorded by Judy Collins.

From our back catalogue comes:

  • The pretty song “Apple blossom time”
  • Mozart’s “Alleluia”
  • “Come follow the band” from the musical Barnum
  • A cappella version of “Country Gardens”
  • The spiritual “Do Lord”
  • A Gershwin medley
  • “Goodnight someone” from The Music Man
  • The charming” I am a small part of the world” by Albrecht and Althouse
  • Abba’s “Thank you for the music”
  • “Buffalo girls”
  • Queen’s “We are the champions”
  • and our recently performed pieces “Music speaks”, “You’ll never walk alone” and “Razzle dazzle”.

So plenty for everyone to enjoy on a summer’s evening!

Ticket price is £10, which includes a free glass of wine during the interval.

Money collected from this concert will be given to various local charities which are regularly supported by this Rotary club.

Tickets can be purchased at the Tourist Information Office at 33 Church Street, Tetbury.
