RCSC Christm    Father Christmas is the name given in many English speaking countries to a wonderful symbolic figure to herald in the Christmas festivities. Father Christmas has many names throughout the world, but what he stands for is the same the world over.
Every year the Rotary Club of the South Cotswolds , under the management of Rotarian Gary Warner and his dedicated team, have followed the Christmas tradition in giving a great deal of happiness and joy to countless children (and adults) around Malmesbury and the surrounding villages by bringing Father Christmas on his Sleigh to their town and village. The complete faith and adulation with which Father Christmas is viewed by the young has been reward beyond measure, but Rotarians also use the event as an opportunity to collect donations that are then used to assist local people that are less fortunate and that are in need of support.
People are most generous at Christmas time and the Club was able to raise significant monies that has been distributed to good causes in the local area.
